The issue of the hijab(veil) arose as a substitute for the retreat and stagnation of rationality, which was replaced by formal religious obligations—that is, superficial religiosity—the dominant form of religious practice since the emergence of Islam approximately 1440 years ago, Here, the question arises regarding the motives of these believers, whose adherence to the new faith was limited to reciting the two testimonies of faith, Did they truly know God? Did they profess that there is no god but Him (monotheism)? Did they fight in the name of jihad in the path of God hypocritically? They did not fight for the sake of God, but rather for four-fifths of the spoils of war, Why would the Almighty need those who strive in His cause? Their religion and piety began with falsehood and ended in failure!
Among the things this religion brought was the veil, the pretense of modesty, and other superstitions and illusions, Intimidation and enticement succeeded in instilling a belief based on ignorance in some women in certain regions, It is said that the veil brings glory in this world and the hereafter, The ridiculous evidence for these superstitions was mentioning some veiled women who achieved glory and progress, for example, in their studies, as if not wearing the veil hinders education in the rest of the world and no unveiled woman has ever completed her studies! While we know from reality that unveiled women have achieved many accomplishments, and their achievements in most parts of the world have even surpassed those of veiled women and men,Most defense ministries in Europe are run by unveiled women, the commander of the Australian army is a woman, and the one who killed the criminal Qassem Soleimani was a woman, History knows of no one who won the Nobel Prize twice except the Frenchwoman Marie Curie, There are tens of thousands of facts that prove women’s ability to achieve tremendous accomplishments, Therefore, the hypothesis of linking the veil (niqab) to glory is nothing but nonsense presented as a fabrication to the ignorant.
And who said that glory is determined by the gender of the individual? Glory is not an individual phenomenon, but a social one, French glory was not achieved thanks to Marie Curie alone, but thanks to French society, which led a revolution considered the mother of all revolutions in the world, Meanwhile, no Islamic country has witnessed a popular revolution because disobeying the ruler is religiously forbidden, and because half of the population of those countries is shackled by stagnation and helplessness due to the veil, the niqab, illiteracy, and the allure of paradise and the terror of hell, This absurdity and helplessness has manifested itself in closing the minds of the gentler half of those groups through blatant criminal means, such as threatening women with hellfire simply for being women. Ibn Abdullah saw that the majority of the inhabitants of hell are women. Did Ibn Abdullah see this with his own eyes? Or is his claim nothing but false testimony? Women are punished with the veil, killed in honor killings, and blackmailed with the fires of hell.
It cannot be said that poverty, backwardness, and corruption are positive achievements, Where do we find poverty, backwardness, and corruption in our world today? We find them especially in societies where women are shackled by the chains of religion and patriarchy, All groups that wear the hijab and niqab are backward without exception,Despite the clarity of this phenomenon, the ignorant still insist on the hijab and niqab, viewing a woman’s hair or face as shameful, Therefore, it was deemed necessary to cover and veil her so that the eyes of the pious man would not be offended by looking at her, It is strange how a man’s eyes are offended by looking at a woman, while his penis is not offended by having intercourse with dozens of them, as Ibn Abdullah did every night by having intercourse with dozens of his wives with a single ablution, And he had similar men with less sexual potency, as his sexual potency exceeded that of 30 men!!!
After a horizontal comparison of the status of women during the reign of Ibn Abdullah and his successors, we would like to present a vertical view of the status of women in comparison with what is called the pre-Islamic era, especially in light of what is said about the religion honoring women in an unprecedented way, Did the Muhammadan era honor women more than the pre-Islamic era? It must be acknowledged here that there are no written and confirmed sources on this matter, as the pre-Islamic people did not write or record, and it cannot be denied here that there is a deliberate obfuscation in this regard in order to show the positive advantages of Muhammadanism compared to the pre-Islamic era.
One of the most prominent negative aspects of the pre-Islamic era was the burying of girls alive (female infanticide), a custom practiced by the second Caliph, Umar ibn al-Khattab, before his conversion to Islam, Mystery surrounds who practiced this custom, as it is said that wealthy families in the pre-Islamic era were averse to it, History only mentions some incidents, such as the incident of Ibn al-Khattab, What reduced this custom due to poverty was the presence of those who ransomed girls with money, such as Sa’sa’ah ibn Najiyah.
In contrast, the sale of women and the marriage of girls or children continued during the reign of Ibn Abdullah, and Aisha was among them. In that era, this practice was legitimized, and then the veil was legitimized, whose conditions were not as harsh in the pre-Islamic era as they became in the era of Islam, After the pre-Islamic era, the status of women deteriorated clearly, Khadija practically bought a husband who was Ibn Abdullah, who was younger than her, because she was a wealthy woman and active in trade, i.e., in the field of money and business. In Islam, this phenomenon disappeared, Moreover, the respect for women in the pre-Islamic era was greater than in Islam, as a woman in the pre-Islamic era could divorce her husband whenever she wanted. This situation changed in Islam for the worse, as divorce became exclusive to men.
Pre-Islamic Arabia was more open than in the Islamic era, Arabs before Islam were not preoccupied with the birth of Abdullah’s son four years after his father’s death, nor did they show much interest in the father of Amr ibn al-Aas, whom Amr’s mother chose from among several men with whom she had sexual relations. Many tribes had female names, and wars even broke out over women, such as the Battle of Dhi Qar with the Persians, Women played an important role in resolving tribal conflicts, There is not enough space here to mention all aspects of the status of women in pre-Islamic Arabia, which was better than after it. Anyone who learns about these positive aspects would dare to ask any woman: “In which era do you prefer to live? The pre-Islamic era or the Islamic era?!”
