Religion and logical fallacy

The saying “terrorism, ISIS, Al-Qaeda and their ilk, this has nothing to do with religion” has become an expected reaction after every terrorist act committed by religious jihadist terrorists,To begin with, we want to emphasize that there is no religion that has practiced terrorism like the last one, in its name and for its sake, The abundance of terrorism in the name of the true religion represents a unique characteristic that other religions do not know, especially in the modern era!
Regarding the representation of Islam, the thinker Muhammad Shahrour gave the following answer to the question, “Who represents it?”: “While voices of condemnation rise here and there, and analysts compete, each pulling the rug out from under one side or the other, ISIS does not represent the religion, nor does Saudi Arabia, Iran, Hezbollah, Zaid, or Omar. So who does represent the religion then? Doesn’t the questioner have the right to see what religion is in your view? As ‘mujahideen’ flow into the tunnel of holy jihad in droves, believers also leave this religion towards atheism in droves, and religious institutions stand by foolishly, watching what their own hands have created, or contributed significantly to creating. Friday preachers continue to conclude their eloquent sermons, shouting, ‘O God, scatter their ranks! O God, help us against them! O God, seize them with the might of the All-Powerful!’ Then they appear on television to spout talk of mercy and tolerance, As for the religious states, I don’t know if their unspoken motto is, ‘I taught him archery every day, but when he grew strong…'” “He helped me,” or did she not realize that this is what she gained from colluding with the Hamans who worked for centuries to drown people in complete ignorance, so that no one dared to ask more than how to enter and leave the bathroom?” Then Muhammad Shahrour continues… Those who turn towards atheism have found that religion does not provide answers to the questions of the age, but rather increases their contempt for their minds, especially since they see their societies living in a mask of piety that does not match the decline of morals, while non-religious societies are basking in the bliss of morals and high ideals.
Imagine if this were our words!! Accusations would rain down on us from every direction… hatred… malice! A dead conscience! Nobodies! As if the pious and pure hadn’t heard the Friday sermons as conveyed by Muhammad Shahrour, O God, seize them with the might of the Almighty!!! Does this mean that God will seize them with the might of the Almighty? Or that the pious and pure are the ones who will seize the infidels with the might of the Almighty???
This statement is associated with several manifestations, the first of which is the applause for those who practiced terrorism by the proponents of the hypothetical statement These people applaud what they call a “revolution,” and the revolutionaries for them are ISIS, Al-Nusra, Al-Zanki, and other factions, They are proud of the ability of ISIS and its ilk to “liberate” large parts of the country,They were proud of ISIS’s victories, and today they curse ISIS. The cursing is nothing but gloating over ISIS, because ISIS did not achieve their ISIS goals more than ISIS did, The activities of ISIS, Al-Nusra, Al-Julani, and others were nothing but a war on humanity, which has always triumphed and succeeded in the end.
This deceptive and duplicitous preamble relies on a flawed analysis that denies the correlation between terrorism and religion, knowing that there is no religion in whose name and for whose sake terrorism has not been practiced against others, Placing the true religion above these practices, which are carried out in its name with relative frequency, is nothing but a flawed analysis, representing one of the forms of logical fallacies, Denying the relationship is a fallacy, and its counterpart is inventing the relationship, which is also a logical fallacy, like the logical fallacy of saying that conspiracy is the cause of all the misfortunes that befell the Arab peoples, and the logical fallacy of welcoming the occupation of the Levant by the Bedouin of the Arabian Peninsula because the Bedouin occupier is more merciful, civilized, and just than the Roman occupier!
A logical fallacy is an error in reasoning and deduction, A strong argument does not need a fallacy, while weak arguments need a fallacy to exonerate themselves or to compensate for weakness with falsehood, A logical fallacy is a trick and an illusion in thinking and deduction, A logical fallacy is the daily bread of religious men, some politicians, or some media, The goal is to deceive people to ensure their submission, acquiescence, and obedience.
There are at least 65 organizations in the world such as ISIS, Al-Nusra, Boko Haram, Al-Qaeda, Al-Shabaab, and others, all of which operate with a religious background, So how can it be said that they have no relation to religion? They are at least a type of religion, not the whole of religion, In fact, there is no one who represents the whole of religion, We ask, what is the impact of that statement?
The impact of that statement is disastrous. It’s tantamount to supporting ISIS, The statement isn’t even neutral or indifferent; neutrality towards terrorism is tantamount to supporting it, condoning its practice, and then encouraging it, Those who deny ISIS’s religious character were among the most enthusiastic supporters of ISIS’s religious revolution, and they continue to openly applaud al-Nusra or Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, which are no different from ISIS, According to their perception, al-Nusra and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham were revolutions for freedom, rights, and social justice, but without democracy! No definition of revolution applies to theAl Julani bandits, Revolutions have different forms and definitions, Were ISIS and the Al Julanism a social, political, Islamic, scientific, or economic revolution, or a revolution for freedom, justice, or anything else? If the agreed-upon principle in the study of revolutions is “change for the better,” will Syrians live better lives after the so-called “revolution of liberation and self-determination”? The “Al Julani revolution” was not an economic one, but rather a begging and pleading one, Is it expected that theAl Julanism will succeed as a scientific, social, democratic, civil, or other revolution? No success is expected in any field whatsoever!
