Samir Sadek, M. Bitar:
We will attempt to briefly explain the problem of transitional justice,We doubt al-Julani’s ability to grasp the implications of the term “transitional justice.” The cave-dwelling al-Julani “does not move” because he is bound by religious tenets, which he considers ideal and sacred, Moreover, if al-Julani were to move, it would be to the past, meaning a return to the origins, as he has been declared to be the Umayyads, guided by al-Ar’our and al-Muhaysini previously, and by the writings of Ibn Taymiyyah currently,This means he would move backward in various directions, including personal status laws, which he would develop according to the concepts of Islamic Sharia, then abolish secular education and replace it with religious education, and replace ministers with religious leaders from among the sheikhs, We should not forget the internationalism, for example, in not specifying the nationality of the head of state, who could be Afghan, and it is not a requirement that he be Syrian, as happened with the Chechen and Uyghur fighters whom al-Julani transformed into generals and commanders in various important security positions, Today, the issue of the Syrian national anthem is being discussed; it is supposed to be changed to become a religious anthem. We have not seen The current anthem contains nothing but decadence, vulgarity, crudeness, and glorification of criminals like Al-Walid and Al-Rashid, and the decadence, vulgarity, and glorification of criminals from the Umayyad dynasty will be even greater in the awaited Muhammadan anthem.
Returning to transitional justice, after attempting to clarify the concept of “transition” and its possibility only in the direction of the past, and that after the transition to the Stone Age is completed, the transition will cease, and its cessation, according to the Al-julani’ henchmen, will last forever, we believe that the concept of justice is very confused for the Golan Heights. The Al-julani has failed to distinguish between justice and equity, and it would have been more appropriate for him to speak of transitional justice, because the concept of equity is linked to the concept of law, and the law that speaks of Quranic justice is Sharia, which is very different from equity. Sharia considers the amputation of a thief’s hand to be the recommended or divinely ordained punishment for theft, while equity is humane, not legal, If a mother were to steal to feed her starving children, equity would not sentence her to amputation of her hand, but rather reward her for performing a great humanitarian act. That is, equity is humane, while equity is a Quranic law, i.e., Sharia, According to the equity of Quranic law, no one in Syria will have two hands, but only one, The reason is that there is no one in Syria who He did not steal and will not steal, therefore his hand must be cut off!
The problem was not exclusively with Assad or al-Julani, The biggest problem was with the people, especially the Arabs, or rather the Arabized or Arabized people, who were raised and conditioned by corruption, flattery, lying, deception, violence and crime for fourteen centuries, Accordingly, there is not one Assad or one al-Julani in Syria, but rather millions of Assads and al-Julanis!
The problem with the Syrian people is that they are more dictatorial and corrupt than Assad or even al-Julani. Assadism has not changed the characteristics of the Syrian people, which are more compatible with al-Julani than with Assadism, The people are the worst in terms of upbringing, culture, freedom, democracy, morality, opportunism, flattery, falsehood, deception, and lying. Assadism and al-Julani represent the corrupt, violent, selfish, and unpatriotic Syrian people with distinction, If the people were otherwise, Assadism would not have been able to remain for half a century, al-Julani would not have been able to succeed in occupying the country, Saddam would not have been able to rule Iraq, and Gaddafi would not have been able to rule the Great Gaddafi Republic of Libya, These peoples are positioned outside of history, morality, awareness, and logic, and what applies to the peoples applies to the rulers of these peoples.
The development of the Syrian people from citizens, for example, during the Roman-Syrian or Syrian-Roman rule, when many Syrians were able to sit on the imperial throne in Rome, to settlers after Syria was distanced from its Syrian identity and civilization, is not true. Samar Yazbek’s claim that the Syrian was transformed into a settler by the Assad regime is incorrect. Syria’s transformation into a settlement or a hotel was due to the conquests and the Arabization by the desert Bedouin, The presence of the Arabized Syrians in Syria has become transient and temporary for many reasons, Is there anyone holding a Syrian identity card who does not want to emigrate after the country has become a mere formal homeland that is repulsive to the soul? And does the Syrian or the Arabized Syrian feel fear except in his virtual homeland? Especially when approaching the border from another country or from exile and wanting to complete his paperwork at security or customs, all the filth of the universe rains down upon him, At the General Security Directorate, a person enters the hall designated for the humiliation of human beings, where he is confronted by a picture of the president on the wall stamped with the phrase… Continuous giving forever!!!!!!, meaning that President Assad bestows and gives forever according to paternalistic concepts, The Syrian citizen lives off favors, meaning he is subject to a system of granted rights, not a system of acquired rights, And can the Syrian ask about the nature of Assad’s giving and what Assad has given his people? And what does al-Julani give his people? And the electricity bills exceed the size of any honest salary, We distinguish between salary and income through corruption, as the salary does not fund more than one day a month, while the proceeds of the profession of corruption are theoretically unlimited, and now they are practically limited due to the depletion of bribe money and due to the abject poverty that has afflicted the Syrian creature.
Can a security officer be asked about al-Julani’s achievements? And what would al-Julani’s security officer do then? He would do as Assad’s security officer did, So there is no difference between al-Julani and Assad, The first thing a person returning to his country for a visit across the border receives was and still is an important lesson in practicing corruption!
