 It is not permissible to place the ball primarily in Khomeini’s or Wahhabi’s goal, as the process of objectifying and manipulating the body, then executing women socially by elevating or degrading them, is not a new matter, It is a tradition with multiple causes, and it may be related to the male’s physical superiority in waging wars. Victory is not shared, and whoever triumphs over the weaker enemy does not tend to practice equality with the weak relative, Domination is a general condition applied to every weak person, and because of military weakness, the woman has turned into spoils of war, meaning that she has been subjected to objectification, that is, she has turned into something, to be bought and sold. In the context of the barter economy, she is exchanged for something else, for example, two baskets of Hijazi dates, or a camel, or a mule, not because she is deficient in intellect, but because she is relatively deficient in muscle. Objectifying her, after her objectification, has become a logical result for a people who are full of muscle and deficient in intellect!

Much has been said in the context of social analysis regarding the phenomenon of veiling, which was previously a kind of partially voluntary social expression, However, the current veiling and its associated practices differ fundamentally from the veiling of bygone days, It is now imposed and more coercive, and it does not represent a response to an underlying social demand, The veil is no longer that distinguishing mark that differentiates the believer from the heretic, It is generalized to everyone, especially in societies of execution like Saudi Arabia in the past and Iran in the past and present, In other societies like Lebanon and Egypt, it may have some function of differentiation and even protest against unjust conditions, It may have a function of belonging in a society whose naked identity has become shameful and devoid of earthly legitimacy. Whoever loses earthly legitimacy seeks it elsewhere, and when they despair of finding it, they turn to assuming it in the unseen realm of the heavens…!!

We cannot blame a fully conscious dead person when he stumbles in the search for ways to be saved, as he is crushed under the hammer of ignorance and the anvil of faith that paralyzes reason, The victim’s transformation into the virtual unseen and the practices imposed by this unseen, such as religious dress, legislation, and customs, may be understandable, because the search in this region for a savior is of little use and benefit, Most rescue attempts have failed, especially the attempt of the early twentieth century, and those who tried to plant some modernity in people’s minds were subjected to persecution and liquidation, Words have lost their persuasive function in light of the practice of bullets in their repressive function!
