Distance or closeness is what determines the type of knowledge civilization that controls progress and backwardness, The question of knowledge civilization cannot be answered except with reason, objectivity, and moving away from tradition, which has caused to a large extent the ruin that believing peoples are experiencing now.The same sterile answers have been prevalent for fourteen centuries, and religious people still repeat them tirelessly, These answers say that backwardness was a result of turning away from religion, How can one claim that there was a turning away from religion when their groups are among the most religious people in the world? And if people really turned away from religion, what were the reasons for their turning away? According to their claim, this led to the Lord of the heavens abandoning and neglecting them, but at the same time He drew closer to the infidels, helped them, and guaranteed them food security, then progress, advancement, power, freedom, and in all other areas of life, even the military.If the assumptions of religious scholars regarding the causal relationship between backwardness and distancing from religion are correct, then who caused people to distance themselves from religion? Despite the efforts of millions of sheikhs in supporting religion and establishing faith in the Creator and praying to the Creator at least five times a day, there is no justification or meaning to accuse and blame people when the sheikhs are responsible for their faith, worship, fasting, polygamy, and procreation, That is, the sheikhs supervise people’s orientations and their relationship with religion, People’s distancing from religion was a result of the nature of this religion and the behavior of religious scholars towards people, and then the failure of religious scholars to arrange the affairs of worldly life for people in a way that provides stability and progress and secures people’s needs for everything necessary in this life.  The failure of religion, its men, texts, teachings, obligations, laws, crimes, the poverty it caused, the hegemony it exercised, and the restrictions it imposed on every individual, from the hijab to jihad and terrorism, which recently manifested itself in the breaching of the borders between Spain and Morocco by tens of thousands of young men and women with the aim of reaching Europe to be able to live a normal and dignified life, Until now, the sheikhs have not uttered a word regarding the attempt of more than 60,000 Moroccan youth to reach Europe through the city of Cebta and others, It is expected that the sheikhs will classify the actions of the youth in the category of conquests that the God of the heavens commanded to be carried out to spread the true religion and expand the House of Islam or the House of War!    Religion is as it is and as its adherents understand it, What the Moroccan youth did in recent days was not an escape from Morocco, but rather an escape from religion and from religious authority over people, preventing them from living with even a minimum level of material and spiritual sufficiency, Consequently, they turned away from religion and tried to flee to Europe via Spain, Attempts to escape religion have been repeated not only from Morocco but from all Arab countries, most notably Syria, The refusal of Syrian men and women to return to the embrace of their beloved, faithful Al Julani leader is nothing but an escape similar in essence and motivation to that of the Moroccan youth, They feel that religion is no longer trustworthy in people’s lives because it has failed to manage their affairs, People do not express this out of fear of religious authority, If religion had remained in its sphere and not interfered in the civil sphere, it could not have been accused of being responsible for backwardness and decline, Religion is what insisted on merging civil life with religious life, thus causing the failure of worldly life, in addition to the well-known failure of religious life for the past 14 centuries. .

The failure of religion, which has ruined worldly life, is due to the practice of the opposite of the methods practiced by other religions and groups, While other religious groups were keen to have the other opinion and benefit from it, Muhammadanism insisted on declaring the other opinion as infidel, and thus put the solution in the hands of civil wars and violence, which began with the Wars of Apostasy and continued until after the Wars of Karbala, that is, to the present, and is characterized by genocides like the past with its genocides such as the extermination of the Assassins, the Qarmatians, the Zanj and others, This was repeated in the modern era with the Armenians, and in the more recent era in Syria on the coast and the south, then in forcing some minorities to flee, for example from Syria and Iraq, as only a few hundred thousand Christians remained out of some millions, and the matter was repeated in Sudan and in Egypt with the Copts and even in Lebanon.

Two thousand years ago, it was said, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s,” meaning that the religious demand was the separation of religion from the state, which proved successful and beneficial, The opposite happened in this region, Here, religion was considered the state, and the law was taken from Sharia, Then, the model of Ibn Abdullah, who placed all power in his hands, was considered a safe path to a better future. But the present remains as bad as the past, or a carbon copy of it, Instead of one prophetic dictator, dictatorships multiplied and their control over the people intensified, especially during the Islamic revival, where so-called red lines, for example, regarding freedoms, grew, While the world practices respect for freedoms and the right to think and create, the sheikhs oppose these practices and trends and insist on the language of a bygone era that they do not want to pass, Despite the numerous factors of backwardness, which do not allow for listing and analyzing them in detail, the tumor of validity for every time and place remains the main malignant tumor that has destroyed the present and future of these peoples!
