This development has many direct and indirect causes, including population growth and its relationship with poverty and ignorance.

Undoubtedly, the sight is not only painful, but also compels us to ask critical questions, What is the motive for bringing all these children into the world, only to abandon them to the fate that wars and poverty have in store for them? Do their parents not bear some responsibility for this tragedy? Was the unbridled, instinctive decision to procreate, controlled by sperm and egg, a rational and wise decision, or a wrong one? Is procreation itself a virtue when those born alive are exposed to death by being killed, dragged through the streets, starved, or sickened? What is the benefit of indiscriminate procreation when early death devours newborns? And what is the benefit of having one of the highest population growth rates in the world in Gaza?

In terms of results and responsibility, a hot war with cannons and rifles is no different from a cold war that starves, kills, and displaces, like the war waged by ignorance against humanity, the war waged by corruption against humanity, and many other wars, Let’s call all of that cold, hot, or a “crisis,” etc. A crisis must be studied and evaluated, Does the poverty crisis that accompanies a war crisis allow for procreation as an expression of the activity and abundance of eggs and sperm, or is it the duty of a rational human being towards his existence to respect life? He must assess the situation in terms of his qualification and ability to care for newborns, This is a fundamentally different approach from the absolute advice to procreate at any cost, because the Prophet will be proud of the prolific nation on the Day of Resurrection!

The child is born and remains instinctive until the age of sexual differentiation, that is, until the sixth or seventh spring of life, This is the instinctive stage of human life, immediately followed by what is called the political stage or the stage of sexual differentiation of the child’s life, The word “politics” here does not mean politics in the traditional sense of the word, but rather it means the stage of preparation, evaluation, building and education, the stage of refining instincts and enlisting them in the service of man, the stage of humanizing the human being.

The absence of the political stage after sexual differentiation, as is the case in backward environments, where the school is failing, family education methods are failing, society is failing, and failure is representative of all other aspects of life—if it is permissible to call a deficient and backward human gathering, i.e., a herd of primitive human creatures, a “society”—leads the failure of the political stage after the age of sexual differentiation to the human being or the newborn/newborn remaining in the instinctual stage, which is controlled by the egg and the animal. Extending the instinctual stage at the expense of the political stage, i.e., the young women and men, even adults and the elderly, remaining in a state of instinctual childhood, means the extension of ignorance,And ignorance here means unrestrained reproduction through procreation, which does not take into account the conditions of economic life in the first place, and life is primarily economic, at least from a Marxist point of view. Remaining in the stage of instinctual childhood means the failure of the political stage, i.e., the human creature remaining in the instinctual stage, i.e., in the stage of savagery that expresses that man is originally a speaking animal.

A person who is not trained to control their instincts is, by definition, an animal, and the proof of this is clear,All peoples with high fertility rates, such as the Syrian fertility rate, which is estimated at 3.4%, are peoples who have no connection whatsoever with the group of advanced, developed peoples, Whoever compares the fertility rates of different peoples will find that high fertility is always associated with backwardness, which should not be a source of pride, as the Prophet advised. In fact, it is not permissible to rely on the Prophet’s advice in this era. It is most likely that this advice had political and military motives in the past, in an era that was beginning to prepare itself for invasions, conquests, and their spoils. The number of warriors in the past was equivalent to the number of swords, and it is not advisable to use the sword in conquests, which some believers still dream of in the present, The sword is of no use in this era at all, What can be used in this era is reason and science, The sword is only suitable in this era for suicide.

The primary motivation for high birth rates in impoverished areas today is not faith, but rather ignorance and a weak sense of responsibility towards the new human being, It is said, ignorantly and without proof, that sustenance comes with the child, We have yet to witness sustenance arriving with the birth of a child. Ignorance is also responsible for misinterpreting the Prophet’s saying, “Multiply and increase in number, for I will boast of you on the Day of Resurrection,” Did his pride in them ever provide bread? Did his boasting save more than 50 children out of 1,000 newborns in underdeveloped areas, compared to the 1.9 deaths in areas not considered part of the Muslim community? Despite his boasting, the infant mortality rate in Gaza is more than 25 times that of Europe,Why must the birth rate in Gaza reach 4%, the highest in the world? Why has the average family size in Gaza reached 8 members? And who will feed all these people in light of sub-zero economic growth rates?
