Anyone who examines the statistics of viewing pornographic films among some peoples, countries, and nations will find that most of these societies are religious, especially in the Arab region, This is not surprising, as sexual repression is directly related to compensatory sexual practice and the need for illusory gratification, which is done through visual or auditory masturbation.

It is noticeable that the term “sexual permissiveness” is frequently used as a synonym or equivalent for sexual freedom, or even for the extremely important sexual culture, which surpasses the importance of teaching religious education, which is harmful to education, science, and morals in the way it is done,Sexual culture provides a great deal of knowledge about the body, its needs, and its interactions, which enables a person to refine and prepare his instincts and improve his behavior.

Understanding the meanings and connotations of the vocabulary used correctly reduces confusion and the need for verbal abuse, Therefore, it is necessary to correct the misconception of sexual pornography, There is a big difference between pornography and sexual freedom,Pornography has no relation to sexual freedom, Pornography does not mean engaging in sexual relations between only two people, but rather it exclusively means publishing the details of these practices to the public in the form of recorded tapes or films (a commercial matter),A sexual act that takes place in a room between four walls is not considered sexual pornography, whatever its form, whether between married or unmarried people, whether in the context of adultery or not, Pornography is the transfer of the sexual act to the public, such as practicing it on the side of the road or in public parks, What is called “adultery” is not sexual pornography and is not obscene, and having multiple partners in sexual practice is not pornography, as long as it takes place in the private sphere, Personal relationships, whatever they are and with whom they are, are not obscene and are not pornographic.

Misconceptions and ignorance regarding the implications of sexual pornography are accompanied by another form of pornography: verbal pornography! This manifests as intrusion into the privacy of others, Intrusion into the privacy of others is the norm in these societies, even though this intrusion, and the accompanying dissemination of “pornographic” stories in their abstract form, is itself verbal pornography, For example, labeling a woman a prostitute, whore, or adulteress, etc., simply because someone suspects her of having sex with her boyfriend, even if it’s within the context of adultery, even if she has more than one partner, and even if the act is paid for, is not considered pornography as long as it remains discreet, private, and away from public view, Sexual harassment, however, is pornography because it occurs outside the bounds of privacy and in public, For this reason, and others, several nations and countries have included sex education in their school curricula, However, in some regions, particularly in the Arab world, the matter remains a subject of debate, The situation is as unstable as that of religious education in schools, whose local implementation has yielded only limited results, On the contrary, I see no harm in teaching sex education in the European style, but rather maximum benefit.

The attempt to introduce sex education into the schools of Arab countries is met with fierce resistance from conservative religious authorities,In contrast, initiatives of this kind have great support from international bodies such as the Committee on the Rights of the Child and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, It is a natural right for young women, men, adolescent girls, and teenagers to access sufficient knowledge regarding their development, needs, and sexual and socio-family matters, Many know the map of the world, but are ignorant of the map of their own bodies and their contours.

The necessity of teaching sex education stems from the prevalence of social ills in many societies, such as harassment, polygamy, and various forms of temporary or temporary marriage (mut’ah), among approximately 16 other types of paid sexual arrangements, Love fades and evaporates in polygamy and other forms of marriage, Thus, the most sublime of human practices—sexual intercourse—is transformed into a form of prostitution, Sex is the pinnacle of love when accompanied by love; sex without love is purely prostitution, Can there be equal love for all wives in polygamous marriages? Does temporary or temporary marriage involve love?
