Hamas, the musl. Brotherhood and trafficking
It was said that the Palestinian issue has theoretically become the Arabs’ main concern, but in practice their main concern has produced nothing but negatives, They have all failed to find a solution to the problem like the solution we know in South Africa and in many of the world’s newly created countries, such as nationalist China, or the establishment of Yugoslavia and then the collapse of Yugoslavia, and other new countries in Europe and outside Europe.
Most Arabs differ from the muslim Brotherhood regarding the Palestinian issue, The enlightened see it as an unacceptable settler colonialism, because it secures a homeland for some and deprives others of their homeland, The enlightened do not link religion to the issue of the occupation of Palestine, The occupation, even if it partially wears the guise of religion, is not religious but colonial, While the Brotherhood sees the Palestinian issue as a kind of continuation of the religious conflict, which was born approximately 1440 years ago, and which resulted in the massacre of Banu Qurayza, then the Khaybar issue and the issue of the necessity of emptying the Arabian Peninsula of non-believers, The issue, by this logic and in this form, is unsolvable, because there are no solutions to problems wrapped in the guise of sanctities.
The logic of the Brotherhood’s liberation background is very different from the logic of the civil liberation background, which allows for solutions, while the sanctities do not allow for any solution, because every solution includes concessions, and the sanctities do not give up anything. The Brotherhood wanted to throw Israel into the sea, and Hamas’s slogan is still the elimination of Israel to this day, despite the local and international military situation, which only allows us to say that Hamas is crazy, The proof of Hamas’s madness was its recent adventure, which no one with an ounce of reason would undertake. In addition to all of this, we want to remind you of what Ambassador Gamal Al-Bayoumi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, said in a statement to Al-Nahar newspaper: “I was told by Palestinian friends I respect that Hamas is seeking to establish an Islamic emirate in Gaza, and that the Palestinian issue does not concern it at all. To abandon the Palestinian issue, and for the goal to be to achieve the Brotherhood’s goal, this is sad.”
Regardless of Hamas’s political-military madness, the Brotherhood has historically not made any noteworthy efforts, which were expressed by Hassan al-Banna in 1948, when al-Banna promised to send ten thousand fighters with the aim of liberation, but his fighters did not liberate a single inch of Palestine, because the Brotherhood had no real presence in this war. The group’s guide, Hassan al-Banna, admitted in his memoirs that the number of volunteers led by Ahmed Abdel Aziz did not exceed a few hundred, which prompted the Brotherhood, after their losses in this war, to abandon the liberation war and turn to guerrilla warfare, They did not even wage guerrilla warfare, but were satisfied with the slogans that appeared after the United Nations resolution to partition Palestine into three parts on November 19, 1947, and after the withdrawal of British forces in 1948.
Hamas succeeded in distorting the Palestinian Authority, which had become the recognized representative of the Palestinians, by Hamas’s departure from the Palestinian consensus, and thus the Palestinian unity was shattered, and the division became the title of the stage, but the Muslim Brotherhood’s Hamas achieved a kind of Muslim Brotherhood identity outside the Palestinian Authority, The separation did not push the peaceful consensual solution forward, but rather complicated the solution to the issue, and the solution became in the hands of war, Hamas did not understand that it would not win any war against Israel, Every operation or military confrontation was accompanied by more pain for the Palestinians, and all of Hamas’s wars were of the type of the Al-Aqsa Flood War and its results, The Al-Aqsa Flood incident was expected, as following the reckless path that Hamas took would lead to its end, and Israel is now forced to destroy Hamas no matter the cost, No sane person doubts Israel’s military ability to do so.
As usual, Iran exploited the 11-day war of 2021 (the Sword of Jerusalem War) and the recent (Al-Aqsa Flood) war to secure an ally, Hamas needed an ally, even if this ally was its religious and ideological enemy, Therefore, Hamas threw itself into the arms of the mullahs and Hezbollah, and did not use the funds provided to it by the European Union to improve the living conditions of the Gazans, but only to improve military capabilities, weapons, tunnels, etc., and thus developed the problem in a military direction, from which there is no positive hope, The development in the military direction led to wars and to falling into the merciless Israeli trap, It fell into the Israeli trap due to shortsightedness, Here is Iran watching the skin of Gaza, and here is Syria acting with neutrality and extreme caution, and Hezbollah is skirmishing as usual to remind people that it is struggling and resisting, What did Hamas gain from all this operation? And what did the Gazans gain from the Hamas operation?
Here it can be said that their lives in the medium and long term will be Without Hamas and without the Brotherhood’s Emirate of Gaza, it would be better, The only way out of the deadly dilemma is to reintegrate Gaza with the West Bank so that the Palestinians can obtain some gains that will enable them to live better, Throwing oneself into the Iranian embrace and the embrace of Nasrallah would have been suicide.
Hamas’s position seems similar to that of the Muslim Brotherhood in Morocco, Moroccan Prime Minister and Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party (Erdogan’s Muslim Brotherhood), Saadeddine El Othmani, thanked and congratulated Hamas after achieving victory in the war against what he called the Zionist entity, while he established normalization with this entity, recognizing it five months before Hamas’s illusory victory
Here we can say that the Brotherhood has two discourses: one is populist, speaking of jihad, struggle, and freedom, wrapped in values, This discourse is often public , and the other is a slogan through which they exploit the Palestinian cause, far from the values that these slogans carry in public, This latter is the true expression of their position on Palestine, Here, the Brotherhood and its branch Hamas, struggled with slogans, and they had no deterrent to exploiting the cause either.
