George Banna, Syriano

The dictatorship in Syria and other Arab entities is not an “accusation,” but rather a reality that lacks no proof. If th rule in these entities is not dictatorial, and one of the worst forms of dictatorship, then what is the nature of this rule? Was it democratic? And can a creature, no matter how mentally retarded, claim that the rule was democratic? Even the head of yesterday’s authority in Syria never claimed that his rule was democratic. Rather, he justified his dictatorship by the lack of preparation of the people to practice democracy, that is, his dictatorship was a “necessity,” recalling a similar Saddamist delirium, where Saddam Hussein called himself the “necessary” president, that is, the necessary dictatorship. The people of Al-Fahim Saddam were in dire need of his dictatorship, and the proof in Iraq applied to the proof in Syria. So, the dictatorship was a “necessity” here and there. Look at what happened to the country and the people here and there! The truth Dictatorship is only necessary for the destruction of countries and the slaughter of peoples, and this is what we have witnessed for decades! Dictatorship has several characteristics, the most important of which is the special willingness to die in defending itself, even if it costs the nation or state the collapse of that nation. This is what the stories of dictatorships around the world have taught us. The second characteristic is the practice of working to create division among the ranks of the people in order to ensure the facilitation of the process of eliminating all opposition and thwarting every attempt to eliminate that dictatorship. If a government depended on the will of the people, we would not have the right to describe it as a dictatorship. Dictatorship is essentially the practice of domination and control over the will of the people or the people, and ruling the people against their will. Therefore, it is unreasonable for a dictatorship to seek to achieve and establish social integration. A dictatorship that depends on the guns of a minority thugs who are not qualified, even morally, to practice the process of integration. Integration is not achieved with a whip and a machete, but rather by practicing social justice and equality. Where is that dictatorship that practiced equality or social justice? It is not necessary that equality and social justice be of a European level in the beginning, but there must be a “beginning” to practicing equality and social justice, no matter what. This was a primitive beginning!!!. A dictatorial authority cannot, by definition, be national, because its existence contradicts the will of the people. As such, dictatorship represents a type of “internal” imperialism, which is distinguished from external colonial occupation imperialism by being several degrees worse than external imperialism, because eliminating internal imperialism is more difficult than eliminating external imperialism, and because internal imperialism tears society apart due to the sympathy of some for it for sectarian, regional, exploitative, personal, familial, tribal reasons, etc., while external colonialism automatically leads to a type of solidarity among all segments of society to get rid of it. The condition of many peoples under foreign colonialism and immediately after independence and getting rid of foreign colonialism was distinguished by being better than the condition of these peoples after falling under the control of internal imperialism, which was represented by dictatorship. If it is permissible to talk about a golden era for Syria in the last century, it was the period between 1946 and 1958, despite the many coup d’état that occurred in it. The second era in terms of preference was the period between 1918 and 1946. Here, whoever reads these words will be struck by a kind of clownish, hypocritical hysteria, which can only be practiced with a wooden mentality and a superficial slogan and an ugly justification for the existing non-national and internal colonial authority. So, whoever is running at this hour behind the deceit of a slogan “Unity, freedom, socialism,” he does not have the maturity to comprehend reality. He is the one who is still riding in the Assad Baath vehicle and the Assad vehicle, or we burn the country, or Assad, or no one. Can the intellectual, cultural, political, and social decadence be deeper in a person who believes in the saying “Assad, or we burn the country, or Assad, or no one?” The mere raising of this barbaric slogan by a person means that he is afflicted with a mental illness
