The “civil” state with a religious Muhammadan reference includes nothing of “civil” except the word “city,” which is Yathrib, What the religious men want to promote is in reality a religious state, but they use a strategy of “gradualism” in this promotion, They want to start, for example, with personal and family law, and then “gradually” come guardianship. How can they start with that in a society that does not know religious homogeneity? Do the gentlemen of religion want to apply an Islamic personal status law to about 10 million Copts? The mere thought of that is promoting Brotherhood racism, whose tricks, deception, fraud, and racism have been explained by many thinkers, including Mr. Afif Al-Akhdar, and which surpasses the racism of the nationalist right, The only reference for the civil state is the mastermind who controls everything, regardless of the sources from which the mind draws its decisions and judgments.

We don’t know exactly how religious figures can reconcile a civil state with religious authority. The moderate scholar Sheikh Qaradawi was more explicit and clear than others in the religious establishment when he said, “Establishing a Muslim state that governs by God’s law and unites Muslims under His banner is an obligation upon the Islamic nation, Those who call to Islam must do everything in their power to achieve it” (The Islamic Awakening Between Extremism and Denial). Before him, there was Sheikh al-Banna, who tried to obscure the political aims of his movement by sometimes claiming it was purely religious and had no connection to politics, and at other times saying, “A Muslim’s Islam is incomplete unless he is politically engaged, and every Islamic association must prioritize the political affairs of its nation in its program; otherwise, it needs to understand the meaning of Islam itself.” Between Qaradawi and al-Banna, we find Bin Laden, who was even more explicit and clear than both of them, Among his achievements was sponsoring and nurturing a large portion of the world’s criminals, and then contributing to By destroying Afghanistan and Somalia and preparing to eliminate Iraq, Yemen, Libya, etc., we do not want to get to this point, gentlemen of religion!

Religious figures claim that secularism is detached from reality and objectivity, living in illusions and dissociation, and thus outside of history, This implies that all developed countries are afflicted with delusion and are stable outside of history! The maker of history is the one who lives within it, It is clear that religious movements have only created a history of superstition and terrorism, These movements have no authoritative presence in any country, and the countries where such authority existed are no longer countries, such as Afghanistan, Somalia, and Iran,Where is the science that makes history among religious movements? Are camel urine and the superstitions of Zaghloul al-Najjar the achievements of history written by these movements lost amidst hyenas and fog? The religious mind is outside of time and history, but within superstition. Al-Afghani, Taha Hussein, Salama Moussa, and Muhammad Abduh were among those who discovered the existence of political Islam outside of history and its center in the superstitions of evil and angels!

The cultural shock suffered by the Arab mind was powerful, generating a state of fear, regret, justification, distorted consciousness, and a poverty of rationality, It began searching and delving into the heritage, looking for its identity, which had emerged from the modern era, that is, from history, and searching for solutions to its problems,It tried hard to light a candle that quickly went out, and at times it imagined that it had discovered its modern identity in the past,Then it began to regurgitate mechanisms that had been established in the depths of the past, specifically in the first century of Muhammad, making them the model and example for the present and the future, Then it lamented the inability of these mechanisms to provide solutions to daily problems, Instead of looking forward, it delved deeper into the past, and thus began a flawed cycle with no end except the extinction of this human being!
