The dialectic of the muslim Brotherhood phenomenon
Anyone who wants to touch upon and understand the phenomenon of the Brotherhood, i.e. political religion, must answer several questions, the first and last of which is: Is the Brotherhood a religious doctrine or a political doctrine? Here we can say that the Brotherhood is a politician who employs religion and is not religious at all, One of the biggest mistakes is to consider the Brotherhood as a voluntary combination of politics and religion, because opposites cannot be combined in one crucible, We have claimed on many occasions that there is no religion in politics and no politics in religion, just as there is no development in what is constant, no stability in what is variable, no existence of a believer who is an infidel or an infidel who is a believer, no dogmatism in pragmatism and no pragmatism in dogmatism, We cannot expect acceptable results from the forced combination of religion and politics. Combining opposites together only distorts the poles of those opposites.
The Muhammadan religion practically represents a historical fact, while the Brotherhood represents a political fact that employs religion to achieve its goals, The age of the political fact that exploits religion cannot be determined by the year 1928, The age of this phenomenon may be around 14 centuries, Religion is a code for a type of morality, while the Brotherhood is a code for a type of politics that aims to dominate others. Its size and boundaries are limitless, as it is international, Its means to achieve its goals were piety and empowerment, and ultimately, violence, oppression, killing, slaughter, and subjugation.
It can be said that the Brotherhood, with its forced functional combination of spirituality and materialism, represents a case of schizophrenia, especially in the era of the state, that is, about 500 years ago, There was a caliphate, and the caliphate is not a state, but rather an entity that derived its legitimacy from Sharia, The schizophrenia was manifested in other points, such as the point of the duality of citizen-subject, where the state knows the citizen and the clan knows the shepherd and the subjects, then the duality of the ethics of obedience – the values of freedom that are opposite in themselves, then the duality of divine fate and destiny – the will of man, where fate cancels the will, and the will cancels the destiny, then the marketing of citizenship, that is, the concept of the homeland-entity, The entity is not a state, but rather a representative of what preceded the state, and between them in this region there is a time difference of about a thousand years, The concept of the state was not known 1440 years ago, The concept of the state and its institutions was born approximately in the sixteenth century, and crystallized more after the Westphalian agreements, that is, it is an exclusively European concept, and has no relation to the caliphate in content, Historically, in the state there are several independent authorities, but in the Caliphate there is only a divine authority represented by Ibn Abdullah and the Caliphs after him, who were addicted to the capricious Sharia, which has no known direction, clear or even understood formula, Sharia is subject to jurisprudence, and jurisprudence reflects the whims, will and interests of the clergy, Its tool is fatwas that induce nausea and even vomiting when you know them, such as the fatwa of Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen on the necessity of washing after intercourse with a woman and its lack of necessity after intercourse with an animal, then the fatwas on farewell marriage after the death of a woman or the legitimacy of eating the flesh of a dead infidel and the illegitimacy of eating the flesh of a dead believer, then the issue of permission to enter Paradise and the wiping out of sins and much, much more that there is no room to mention.
We live in an era of revolutions, that is, an era of profound, radical changes, However, revolution is not part of the doctrine of the Muslim Brotherhood religion, which imposes obedience to the ruler, then preoccupies the faithful human being with the tasks of caring for rituals, practicing worship and jihad in the way of God, that is, the use of the sword and practicing submission after accusing others of apostasy and legitimizing their plunder and looting, and even killing them for the most trivial reasons, Whoever forgets the dawn prayer is killed by his father according to the constitutions of the Muslim Brotherhood, that is, Sharia, Here, schizophrenia is evident in its clearest form, We know that the peoples of the Arabian Peninsula were afflicted with the disease of invasion, that is, fighting and wars, and it is said about hundreds of thousands of dead, and certainly there were those who neglected the dawn prayer, but history did not provide us with information about the number of massacres expected due to neglecting the dawn prayer, even in the beginning and in this era, those who neglect the prayer are not practically slaughtered. That is, what was written and said about many of the terrifying punishments was merely moody chatter, like many other rulings such as the whims that contradict each other in the conditions of entry. To heaven, and the contradictions in dealing with women, so how can you reconcile your religion and our religion with “kill the polytheists” etc., or I was commanded to fight people until they testify etc., behind these contradictions and many others there is no systematic thinking and a specific point of view but rather purely capricious.
Humanity is steadily evolving towards globalization, in a manner that is not compatible with the nature of Muhammadanism, which has been characterized since its beginnings by isolation and bad relations with the peoples whose lands were conquered and whose inhabitants were forced to pay tribute, Islamize, or fight, There were no friendly relations with anyone except Abyssinia, which granted some believers protection for humanitarian reasons, The development of the global situation towards globalization requires the readiness of Muhammadan culture to practice positive interaction with others as a condition of productive belonging to the world, that is, partnership in creating a global civilization, However, Muhammadan history was and still is addicted to hostility, isolation, and the arrogant notions of the best nation, Here, we can expect great difficulties with globalization, Muhammadan culture has failed to establish constructive relations with all the countries of the world and has erred in interpreting the human tendency of the peoples of the world towards the tragedies and disasters that have befallen the peoples of the region and the stagnation of Arab human sense, which did not understand the human motive for objecting to the massacres in Gaza, University students did not demonstrate Arabs are protesting over what is happening in Gaza while Western university students demonstrated, Western university students did not demonstrate in support of Sinwar and Hamas, but rather in objection to the mass killing as an inhumane act, Arabs in general do not understand the difference between the humanitarian and the political, perhaps due to a decline in their humanity, We all remember the manifestations of gloating on 9/11. After 9/11, some claimed that on that day religion was hijacked by the terrorist Bin Laden. After 9/11, it can be said that ISIS hijacked religion, as did Hezbollah and others. However, historical reality does not prove that these kidnappings were temporary or emergency. History proves that Bin Laden, Al-Zawahiri, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, and their likes and disciples did not bring anything new compared to the practices in the first Hijri years and throughout the last fourteen centuries.
The peoples of the region live in a state of constant crisis because they oscillate between the model of pastoral nomadic life, i.e. tribal and religious leadership, and the very weak civil model among the peoples of the region, i.e. the model of legal civil life and the system of balance between rights and duties, i.e. the citizenship system, which does not operate on granted rights but rather acquired ones, i.e. a person lives from his work and not from the favors of the president or prince, The system of favors leads to servility and obedience, which is in harmony with the Brotherhood’s mentality imported from the “glorious” tribal past, the past of conquests and spoils of war.
