Mira Al-Bitar, Ruba Mansour:
Instead of a civilization being established on Earth and in the human mind, with clear and documented features and global recognition by world historians, who have acknowledged and recognized the existence of ten civilizations in the world, including the Babylonian, then the Pharaonic, Persian, Mayan, and Chinese civilizations, etc., the so-called “Islamic” civilization remained without recognition, distorted and incapable, and unable to establish a single state characterized by some degree of democracy, even in this era.
Instead of all that, the Arabized masses insisted on the existence of a civilization called “Islamic,” built on pillars of delusion, lies, and fabricated narratives that filled school textbooks, With these, the promoters of Arabism attempted to establish a civilization of “illusion.” Among these illusions was the view that Islamic history was civilized when in reality it was barbaric, Then there was the promotion of the conquests as liberating, while a resolution from the League of Nations after World War I considered them among the worst forms of colonialism, because they were possessive and did not respect the characteristics of the peoples of the conquered regions, such as language and religion, Then they practiced plunder, pillage, enslavement, and racism by classifying people into infidels who must be killed and believers who have all rights in this world and the hereafter, meaning that they deserve Paradise regardless, In the hadith, it is said, “Gabriel came to me and gave me glad tidings that whoever dies from my nation does not associate anything with God.” He entered Paradise, I said: Even if he committed adultery and theft? He said: Even if he committed adultery and theft, but he will be under the will of God. 1
Despite the UN resolution prohibiting the concept of conquest, Arab-Islamic forces did not hesitate to embark on the “Arabization” project, which destroyed internal peace in many so-called Arab entities, This occurred in Syria with regard to the area east of the Euphrates, and in Algeria when the government attempted to erect a monument to the criminal Uqba ibn Nafi, It continues to this day in Egypt, Lebanon, and other entities that Arabists seek to Arabize without any success, indeed with utter failure and the emergence of anti-Arab movements like the Egyptian National Movement, This has effectively destroyed Arabism and its parties, such as Ba’athism and Nasserism, Then came the age of social media, which lifted the veil on everything and exposed the lies and hypocrisy instilled in the minds of students and the rest of the population for decades, Social media has exposed religious systems, and the latest scandal was what happened in Marrakesh, where tens of thousands of young men and women marched towards Ceuta with the aim of reaching Europe, This demonstrated their view of European civilization as humane, and the absence of any Islamic civilization in the positive sense of the word, These young men and women did not flee from the land, but rather they fled from what is called Islamic authoritarianism, which represented nothing but injustice and savagery!
There is no objective basis for speaking of an Islamic civilization, Civilizations are not attributed to religion but to the efforts of peoples and their capacity for progress and development, Hence, there is European civilization, Chinese civilization, and so on. No civilization is attributed to a religion except Islam, Those who rely on Islam must rely on the Quran, But how can the Quran establish a civilization? The first condition for establishing a civilization is the ability to evolve, transcend the sacred, embrace monotheism, and rely on reason instead of tradition! Did the Quran permit evolution, the transcendence of the sacred, and the use of reason?
Civilizations are based on achievements, not on myths of miracles, as is the case with European civilization, which was based on three achievements: first, secularism and the separation of religion from the state, then Roman law and Greek philosophy, and then religion, which accepted with great positivity its distancing or separation from politics, and then its transformation into a social religion with social responsibilities different from the concept of personal religion.
The claim of an Islamic civilization was founded on the claim of “miraculousness” in its various forms, such as those promoted by Zaghloul El-Naggar, Western European civilization was founded on real, enormous achievements in the scientific and socio-political fields, In contrast, what did the religion of the Arabs offer except its insistence on merging politics with it, then placing life and its organization within the cage of Sharia and rigidity, then condemning innovations that were considered heresy and misguidance? In contrast, the West progressed through innovations, which it embraced as necessary for progress and advancement. What was called an Islamic civilization was founded on God’s law and died with God’s law, Where is God’s law now?
Given the lack of Arab scientific achievements, the percentage of Arabs who won Nobel Prizes was 0.25%, while the percentage of Jewish Nobel laureates reached 25%, Some ignorant Bedouin Arabs tried to claim that the source of Western progress was the Book of God, and they invented a title for this called the scientific miracles in the Qur’an. And what were the results of this attempt, except for the farce, the humiliation, and the six billion that Zaghloul El-Naggar earned from selling the book on scientific miracles? In reality, the hypotheses of scientific miracles were not for the sake of science, but rather to prove the prophethood of Ibn Abdullah, Now we ask, at what level are Arabs living now with Ibn Abdullah? Does his book contain the sciences of physics, chemistry, medicine, and so on? Did Zaghloul El-Naggar split the atom or go to the moon???
The eighth century AD witnessed some progress, which extended exclusively to the twelfth century, in the field of translation, Translation was unidirectional, from Greek, Persian, Indian, and other languages into Arabic, This was carried out by translators such as Ishaq ibn Hunayn and Hunayn ibn Ishaq, among others who had no connection to the Arabs, and were not even Muslim, During this period, some scholars emerged, such as Al-Khwarizmi, Ibn Sina, Ibn al-Haytham, Ibn Khaldun, and others, However, their achievements were but a drop in the ocean compared to the scientific advancements made by the West, Furthermore, they were all persecuted and killed in the most horrific ways, as happened to Jabir ibn Hayyan, Al-Hallaj, Ibn Sina, Ibn Rushd, and others of Persian origin, All of this coincided with Al-Ghazali’s triumph over philosophy and his continued hostility towards it, which persists to this day, Even today, the teaching of philosophy is prohibited in some Arab countries, as if Al-Ghazali were still alive and Ibn Rushd were dead in his grave!
