كاريكاتير صحيفة سعودية.. حزب الله يسطو على لبنان بخليه عنكبوتية - اليوم السابع    Hezbollah is a sectarian party, and by virtue of this characteristic, it is a sectarian party, Hezbollah represents a political Islamism like the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamism incompatible with civil society, freedom, and democracy, Some have objected to this claim, arguing that Hezbollah is responsible in a state that has some democratic features, and this is true! However, Hezbollah does not represent a pillar of this flawed democracy, but rather an obstacle to its development for the better., It is the party that occupied the capital when it was dissatisfied with the political situation, It is the party that possesses armed militias, militias that primarily defend the Iranian regime, Hezbollah’s militias are present in Lebanon without any constitutional cover or internal and external recognition, It is a state within a state, The party declares war and forces Lebanon to bear its consequences, It attacks neighboring countries and forces the Lebanese state to bear the repercussions, It is a political Islam that feeds on the scraps of Lebanese democracy and betrays this democracy at every opportunity.

Hezbollah’s intervention in Syria was characterized by a great deal of clarity and audacity, such as its objection to the removal of Assad and then considering the removal a red line, Nasrallah wanted Assad to stay, and the Syrian people had no choice but to accept that, as the will of Nasrallah and Hezbollah was above the will of the Syrian people, And whoever opposes Nasrallah and his divine party, there is the gun, The party represents an ugly kind of blatant colonialism, as the political literature regarding war, occupation, and colonialism does not know those terms that Hezbollah uses with a rare crudeness in political-military history!

Hezbollah became arrogant and inflated based on a lie it told and believed, and many others believed the lie regarding the liberation of southern Lebanon, In the context of the liberation of Lebanon, southern Lebanon, up to the Litani River, was occupied by Israel several times, for example, after Hezbollah kidnapped two Israeli soldiers, The one who liberated southern Lebanon was the Security Council with its Resolution No. 1907, which stipulated the withdrawal of Israel up to the Blue Line, prohibited Hezbollah from entering southern Lebanon (south of the Litani River) with weapons, and approved the disarmament of Hezbollah. Can this be called the liberation of southern Lebanon by Hezbollah?

The entry of Hezbollah fighters into Syrian territory, and their active participation in the destruction of Syria and the killing of its people, even if with the permission and at the request of the Assad regime, had a profoundly negative impact on the conscience of the Syrian people, This was due to several reasons, the first being that the entry was in response to the needs of a regime that had lost its legitimacy, or rather, never had any legitimacy, Furthermore, this regime was morally bankrupt and incompetent in governing the country, and it committed criminal acts against the Syrian people, Hezbollah, through its intervention, shared in the regime’s misdeeds and policies, When Syria holds the defunct regime accountable, Hezbollah will face a similar reckoning!

Since its inception, Hezbollah has caused most of Lebanon’s crises and many of Syria’s crises, with its evils reaching the Gulf, Yemen, Iraq, and others, One of the crises was making weapons more powerful than the sovereignty of the state, thus deepening the crisis of the state until it became an existential crisis for Lebanon, affecting Lebanon’s present and future,There is no future for Lebanon without a state, and no future for it with the mini-state of Hezbollah, which stole the state, booby-trapped it, and threatened to blow it up, The most dangerous thing that Hezbollah did is not the wars it caused, although they were catastrophic by all standards, but Hezbollah’s theft of the right to self-determination for Lebanon, meaning that it abolished the government, the parliament, and the people as well, and dragged Lebanon into regional or even international confrontations, and turned the state into a kind of decoration, the citizen into a hostage, and the constitution into ink on paper!

Hezbollah’s damage was not limited to what was mentioned, but also included the economic situation and thus impoverished the Lebanese, In the 2006 war, Lebanon lost the lives of about 1,000 civilians, and more than one million people were displaced, The infrastructure of southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut was almost completely destroyed, As for the economic cost, it amounted to more than five billion dollars of direct damages, The situation was repeated in recent months in a harsher manner and was accompanied by greater displacement and bigger material losses!

Instead of Lebanon devoting itself to investing its minds, competencies, and geographical location to build a capable economy, decent services, and address corruption, it remained stuck in a spiral of successive crises, fueled by the presence of weapons outside the control of the state, What was called resistance was not a cause imposed on Lebanon by a particular history, and it is not Lebanon’s duty to commit suicide for the sake of the Iranian mullahs, The resistance should resist, and when there is no horizon for this resistance, it should dissolve itself and turn to cultivating olive and lemon trees, Resistance without capability is futile and suicidal, and when the inability is proven, it should stop, In fact, it should not have started because its futility was known before it began, They fought knowing that they would lose, but they continued, In the science of war, this is called a crime against oneself, and they should be tried for it, This is in addition to their embroiling Lebanon in a war matter that does not concern it, for example, supporting Hamas or avenging the killing of the Iranian Supreme Leader, or other issues that have no direct relation to Lebanon.

Hezbollah has placed Lebanon before an existential choice from which there is no escape: either a single state with a single authority and a single army under the leadership of legitimate institutions, or sliding towards further collapse. We do not see a future for Lebanon without a capable state apparatus and a constitution that supersedes weapons, regardless of who carries them!
