The school is an extension of the home and the family, and life at home is mixed, so we do not know the reason for separating girls from boys in school. Despite this, there are those who reject mixing, and the source of the rejection of mixing was primarily religious and unjustified.

  Here is Mufti Ibn Baz giving his opinion on education and co-education, and Sheikh Al-Huwayni and a large group of sheikhs and so-called scholars are following in his footsteps,Scholars in what field?! Is it chemistry, physics, or sociology? It is as if Al-Huwayni has turned into Durkham and Ibn Baz has turned into Max Weber, There is no reason to discuss with these people regarding schools, education, co-education, etc. All of that is not their responsibility and is not within their area of ​​expertise, Discussing these topics with them is nothing but a waste of time, The situation of the holy books that are thousands of years old is no different from the situation of Al-Huwayni and Ibn Baz, These books have no relation to the organization of the school scientifically and behaviorally.  

The sheikhs claim that the presence of female students with male students in the same hall is a source of moral problems! Cohabitation is not the source of problems; rather, life with its complexities and contradictions is the primary and ultimate source of moral dilemmas. Furthermore, it is well-known that the religious scholars’ understanding of the term “moral problem” differs significantly from that of others, We do not consider romantic relationships between the sexes a “problem,” but perhaps even a solution,A girl meets a boy in school, and a relationship develops between them; this is natural in life, Isolating a girl from a boy is a source of problems due to a lack of experience with the opposite sex before marriage, Marriage brings a profoundly deep connection and places this connection in the hands of someone ignorant of the nuances of the relationship between men and women, In this case, a breakdown in the marital relationship becomes inevitable, To prevent this breakdown from becoming visible, the woman is placed under the absolute authority of the man, thus negating her as a partner and domesticating her as an object to be manipulated as the man pleases,Therefore, it can be said that the man becomes his own partner, not the partner of his wife, whose functional existence is effectively erased, The man is married with The same, and he acquires a woman to work as a slave and then as a nursery to give birth to children, This is the woman that religious men imagine, and in their imaginations they rely on texts that support, justify and legitimize all of that.   

Religious figures and members of the Muslim Brotherhood speak of the dangers of “fitna” (strife/discord) arising from mixing of the sexes, Even these religious figures are ignorant of the implications of the concept of fitna, which is a distinctly pre Muhammadan concept, Fitna is not a personal matter between a man and a woman, but rather a collective matter, unlike infatuation, which is personal, Fitna is a concept invented to describe situations that do not exist in this era. The issue of Uthman was fitna, Siffin was fitna, Karbala was also fitna, apostasy was fitna, etc. Moreover, the concept is pre-Islamic, and its use in this era is out of place and out of time, Classrooms are not places for fitna in its various linguistic senses, The instigator of fitna is the one with the opposing stance and opinion, not the one who admires the girl or the boy. Admiration and affection do not contain fitna, but rather infatuation. Furthermore, the instigator of fitna will have serious problems with God, for God will punish the instigator of fitna with a severe punishment. And would God punish someone He loves?

They also say that mixing exposes girls to harassment and molestation, and here they reverse the matter, as the lack of mixing and repression is the main cause of harassment, which is mainly known in closed societies.

The sexual instinct remains one of the most important instincts, and this instinct is activated in adolescence and does not stop at a certain age, However, in a closed society that prevents mixing even in the years of male and female innocence, the monster of harassment is unleashed to reach an unimaginable form, This instinct is refined in several ways, including mixing coupled with getting used to the presence of the other, and thus curiosity disappears and repression decreases to the point of non-existence, and then with deterrent punishments,Mixing remains the ideal treatment that depends on returning the person to his mixed social space, at which point the need for harassment decreases, The person who lives in a natural mixed social atmosphere does not tend to harassment, which the savage person is passionate about, The savagery of the person is produced by exposing him to conditions that contradict and conflict with his social nature.  

   Those who oppose co-education claim that it leads to the spread of immoral crimes such as adultery and fornication, Here, we must say that the meanings of the aforementioned terms, such as fornication, are very different, Fornication according to religious concepts is very different from fornication according to the secular or civil dictionary, The governor of Mosul shaking hands with the representative of the European Union is considered religiously fornication, while refusing to shake hands is considered rudeness and bad morals according to the civil perspective, The religious perspective does not align with what is natural in life, so it can be said that it is barbarity, Is the role of the school to create monsters? 

     Mixing in schools, institutes, universities, and life in general is a self-evident matter that the vast majority of societies on Earth do not dispute, The Muslim Brotherhood should have familiarized themselves with the educational models of countries that are successful in terms of schooling, education, and upbringing. We do not know the name of the disease that afflicted the Salafists, nor do we know the reason for their inability to learn and to be guided by the opinions of others. Ultimately, they destroyed themselves with ignorance, fanaticism, and superstition; no one else destroyed them… They committed suicide!
