Women between pre-Islamic and Islamic times

كاريكاتير: حظر الحجاب في أوروبا | كاريكاتير | الجزيرة نت   The issue of the veil  awoke as a substitute and a death rattle before the death and decline of religious obligations, which turned into a formality, that is, into formalistic religiosity, which has been the dominant form of religiosity since the existence of religion, A few years after the announcement of the birth of the Muhammadan religious call, there were believers, especially after the Meccan period, Here it is worth asking about the motives of these believers, who were content with uttering the two testimonies of faith, and did these people know God? They said that there is no god besides Him, then they joined the fighting under the name of jihad in the way of God, In reality, these people did not fight or strive in the way of God, but rather for four-fifths of the spoils of war, And why does the One who is capable of everything need someone to strive in His way?  Their religion and religiosity began with fabrication and ended with failure!

Among the things this religion has legislated was the veil and the sophistry of the private parts and other such nonsense and superstitions, Intimidation and enticement were able to instill in some women and in some regions a kind of conviction based on ignorance that the veil creates glory on earth and in heaven. The ridiculous proof of these absurdities was mentioning some veiled women who achieved glory, for example, in studies, as if unveiling hindered studies in the rest of the world and there is no unveiled woman who completed her studies, while we know from reality that unveiled women have achieved many so-called glories socially, and unveiled women all over the world have contributed with others in the social framework to achieving those glories more than any veiled woman has achieved, Most of the defense ministries in Europe are led by unveiled women, and the commander of the Australian army is a woman, and the one who smashed the skull of the criminal Qassem Soleimani was a woman, and history does not know of a person who won the Nobel Prize twice except for the French Marie Curie. Therefore, the hypothesis of the veil creating glory was nothing but nonsense presented to foolish simpletons.

Who said that glory makes an individual male or female? There is nothing but foolishness in this claim, for glory is not an individual personal phenomenon, but rather a social characteristic, French glory was not achieved by Marie Curie alone, but by French society, which carried out a revolution that is considered the mother of world revolutions, while no popular revolution took place in any Muslim country, because disobeying the ruler is religiously forbidden, and because half of the people of those entities are rendered ineffective and inactive by the veil and the niqab and by the temptations of paradise and the terror of hell, The foolishness and ineffectiveness were manifested in closing the minds of the fairer half of those groups by blatant criminal means such as threatening women with hell for being women, since Ibn Abdullah saw that the majority of the inhabitants of hell were women,Did the Chosen One see this with his own eyes? Or perhaps his claim was nothing but perjury!!!!! Women are punished by the veil and killed even on earth by the tranquility of honor killings, and they have no place in heaven except in the section of hell!

It cannot be said that poverty, backwardness, and corruption are glories, Where do we find poverty, backwardness, and corruption in today’s world? We find them especially among groups whose female half is shackled by the chains of male criminality, All veiled and niqab-wearing societies are backward without exception. Despite the clarity of this phenomenon, the ignorant are still insistent on the hijab and niqab and on considering a woman’s hair or face as something private, Therefore, it is necessary to veil and niqab her so that the eye of the believing man is not harmed by looking at her, How strange that the eye of a man is harmed by looking at a woman! While his penis is not harmed by penetrating dozens of them, as the Prophet used to do every night by having intercourse with dozens of his wives with one ablution, and there were many like him.

After the horizontal comparison regarding women in the era of the Prophet and his successors, we want to present a vertical overview of the status of women compared to what is called the pre-Islamic era, especially because of what is said about the religion of the Prophet honoring women in an unprecedented way, Did the pre-Islamic era honor women better than the religion did? Here we must admit that there are no written and documented sources on this point, as the people of the pre-Islamic era did not write or record, and we cannot deny the existence of a deliberate obfuscation on this point with the aim of showing the merits of the religion of the Prophet compared to the pre-Islamic era, In general, there is no era without negatives.

One of the most important negative aspects of the pre-Islamic era was the practice of burying girls alive, which was practiced by the second Caliph, Omar, before he embraced Islam, There is some ambiguity about the number of those who practiced burying girls alive, as it is said that wealthy families in the pre-Islamic era were averse to that practice, History only mentions some incidents of burying girls alive, such as those practiced by Ibn al-Khattab, What reduced burying girls alive due to poverty was the presence of those who ransomed those girls with money, such as Sa’sa’ah ibn Najiyah.

In contrast, the sale and enslavement of women continued, and child marriage continued in the era of the Prophet, whose share was the child Aisha, In that era and even today, this practice is considered legitimate (Iraq), Then the veil was legitimized, or rather imposed, which was not as harsh in the pre-Islamic era as it became in the era of the new religion (verses of light and the parties), After the pre-Islamic era, the conditions of women clearly worsened,The pre-Islamic woman Khadija practically bought her husband Muhammad because she was a woman of wealth and business, In the era of faith and the Prophet, the phenomenon of the woman of wealth and business disappeared, Moreover, the respect for women in the pre-Islamic era was greater than the respect for them after the pre-Islamic era, as the woman in the pre-Islamic era could divorce her husband whenever she wanted, This changed in the religious era for the worse when divorce became exclusively in the hands of the man.

Pre-Islamic Arabia was more liberal than the Islamic era, The pre-Islamic Arabs were not preoccupied with the birth of Abdullah’s son after his father’s death, even if it took a long time, such as four years, Nor did we find in pre-Islamic Arabia a great deal of interest in the father of Amr ibn al-As, whom the boy’s mother identified from among several men with whom she had a sexual relationship,Many tribes had female names, and wars were even fought over women, such as the Battle of Dhi Qar with the Persians, Women played a significant role in resolving disputes between tribes, There isn’t enough space here to mention all aspects of the status of women in pre-Islamic Arabia, which was better than the situation of women after it, Anyone who learns about all these positive aspects would dare to ask any woman: Which era would you prefer to live in, the pre-Islamic era or the era of faith? Their era or ours?!
