le Bon and the extinction of the best nation

Maha Bitar, Syriano

The Arab-Muhammadan fascination with   Le Bon is due to the similarity of intellectual stereotypes,We will mention some of these stereotypes, such as the stereotype of considering invasion and conquest as a natural right, Le Bon was active in Europe during a period of intense conflict between two theses, The first was the thesis of those who advocated human equality and human rights, and the second was the thesis of self-isolation, then racism, ethnicity, and human differences, That time was the time of the beginning of capitalism, which took over leadership from feudalism, Here,  Le Bon sided with the racist, ethnic side against the equality team. Rather, he considered equality among people to be a pathological condition that contradicts the inevitability of fate and history, which divided people into higher and lower classes. The lower classes must surrender to fate, that is, for the higher class to dominate them. This is a matter of destiny that is inevitable, and it is their inevitable heritage, Therefore, in his book (The Psychological Laws of the Development of Nations), which represented his personality and mentality, he considered the concept of “equality” among people to be contrary to… For the inevitability of fate, that is, it was my fate as well, that is, like the believers in Muhammad.
Le Bon’s divisions were based on the ability to oppress and seize, meaning that his divisions saw that the lower societies were the non-warlike societies, which did not care about the sword and wars, but rather about the craft and civil advancement, and considered looting, theft, and what is called the spoils of war to be nothing but virtue,   so the Bedouin culture preserved his saying regarding conquests, “History has not known a more merciful conqueror than the Arabs”!!!, meaning that it is enough for you to be somewhat merciful in order for you to have the right to “conquer” the regions of others and seize their property, then kill and slaughter them, Mercy is relative and means that your slaughtering of 40,000 Levantines represents a kind of mercy, when you possess swords that enable you to slaughter 80,000 of them, so you are considered merciful!!!!, Mercy is a relative matter, and its standard is Hulakou for example, And whoever said that Ibn al-Walid was merciful compared to Hulakou, in fact Hulakou  was more merciful than Ibn al-Walid and his group and his messenger by degrees.
The Arabists met with the intellectual corpse of Le Bon on several occasions, For example, they met with him on the point of the best nation, The best nation remains the best nation even if it destroys itself and others, even if it steals, plunders, and forces people to pay tribute willingly while they are humiliated, The bearers of the Suf represented the higher societies, and the bearers of the letters were from the failed lower societies. In Le Bon’s divisions and in his testimony regarding the mercy of the conquerors, we see proof that Mr. Le Bon was nothing but a predatory beast, which he confirmed in another area, which was the area of women’s rights, Since he rejected equality among people, he therefore rejected equality between men and women, and refused to recognize the humanity of women and their equality in rights with men, Rather, he considered that good lies in not educating them, in excluding them, and in making them ignorant, saying that if victory is written for women, the European will turn into a Bedouin without a home or a family, It is no wonder that the Arabists who are ignorant of Le Bon admired Le Bon, because what he said around 1884 is the same as what the Sheikh said Al-Huwaini or Al-Shaarawy in this era, had that religious Bedouin Arab admiration for Le Bon, despite his consideration of Arabs in general as a people of the Bedouins… He asked quite frankly, “Is it possible for a Spaniard, an Englishman, and an Arab to be grouped together? Aren’t the psychological differences between them apparent to anyone with eyes?”
Le Bon asserted that the great humanitarian principles cannot be applied to all human beings,In his opinion, there are peoples who do not deserve what other peoples deserve, even the education that some peoples deserve, others do not. Therefore, Le Bon developed the concept of dividing peoples into four types: primitive, religious, middle, and higher. He classified the conquering Arabs as middle races, which created a civilization that was surpassed only by the Europeans, Here, he denied that the Arabs were the best nation, despite considering “race” a matter of destiny that cannot be changed. He denied that some peoples could rise from an inferior class to a better class, because this rise represents only an external coating that does not affect their inner essence, which even education is unable to overcome, according to his expression, Therefore, Mr. Gustave Le Bon decided, on behalf of history, that non-European peoples do not deserve equality with some other peoples, and do not deserve education, and thus created the theoretical basis for Nazi Hitlerism.
It is no wonder that the Arabists from the group of the Seal of the Prophets and the Seal of the Religions, and then the best nation, rejoice with ideas of this kind, It is no wonder that they occupy and conquer because the spoils are a natural right for them and the whole world is theirs, Spreading their religion by the sword is a natural right for them. The tribute   and paying it with a humble hand is their right, and the captives are their right, The lack of equality between the believer and the infidel is their right. It is their destiny to be above and the destiny of others to be below, as Hitler and his Nazis saw it, which has the right to a decent place under the sun, What is the problem in taking Poland, for example?! The Poles, according to Hitler’s classification, were among the lower peoples, and lower peoples have no rights.
In general, we see a similarity between Le Bon’s view of history and the view of the Arabists regarding authoritarianism, fatalism, rights and equality, On the other hand, it seems that what Le Bon promoted does not agree with what human thought has reached today, that is, he stood in the face of the movement of history, just as Nazism stood and just as Arabism stood and stands, This means that they failed, and as a result, Nazism became extinct where it was born, and the Arabists are on their way to extinction where they were born…
