An attempt to reframe the Syrian debate on the concept of civil war. There is undoubtedly a close relationship between the two war. Both were catastrophic, with the catastrophe of the 14-yearAn attempt to reframe the Syrian debate on the concept of civil war. There is undoubtedly a close relationship between the two war civil war being more devastating than the 1967 war. There is an escalation in catastrophe, matched by a decline in the capabilities to protect against war. In other words, peoples are in a state of continuous and increasing deterioration, and this is no surprise.
The catastrophe of the 1967 war is rooted in the Arab situation, characterized by demagoguery, improvisation, selfishness, and poor judgment. In contrast, the Syrian war and other internal wars faithfully embodied these characteristics. The 1967 war had a liberating goal, roughly equivalent to liberating the Arab states from the partial occupation of their lands. However, this war coincided with the beginning of a new and advanced phase of internal suffocation, with the Israeli occupation expanding to three times its previous area. The failure to liberate the land from its foreign occupier coincided with the consecration of the absolute occupation of the land and everything on it by internal colonialism. The goal of the system and philosophy of resistance and steadfastness was to liberate Palestine. The liberation of Palestine did not happen. What happened was the increasing enslavement of peoples by internal colonialism. The fourteen-year war was to get rid of the Assad regime. The result so far has been the consolidation of the Assad mentality and spirit, as the Golanism does not differ from the Assad regime in any fundamental way. It is a sectarian rule under another name. The 1967 war wanted liberation and ended in enslavement. The failed liberator Hafez al-Assad was rewarded from being a minister to being president for life and for his descendants forever. Now the perpetuity has moved to the Golanism, that is, to the Sharia Brotherhood. The Assad regime’s battalions are no different from the jihadist factions that declared war on tyranny and enslavement, but they persisted in tyranny, enslavement and criminality. They developed the Assad regime from an evil that must be eradicated to an inevitable savior. Because of the factions that are worse than the Assad regime, the Assad regime rose to the level of moral superiority over… The factions, and thus the overthrow of Assad was postponed until after the overthrow of the factions, and until a necessity in the near term at least. Now, the Jolaniyya movement has been brought in from the factions’ folds to undertake the role of cleansing the country of ISIS and their ilk. The Jolaniyya movement understands ISIS because it was part of ISIS. Perhaps there is much truth in saying that it is ISIS Light.
The 1967 war, as they say, was to remove fear of the Israeli enemy. Conversely, the fourteen-year war was to instill fear of the “national” authority!! Accordingly, some thought that the 1967 war would consolidate the sense that the state exists. The fourteen-year war proved that there is no state, and even that the existence of a people who do not know how to liberate themselves from enslavement and exclusion is of no importance. Before 1967, the world was filled with the clamor of unified historical, cultural, and linguistic ties of Arab efforts and the fulfillment of dreams. During the fourteen-year war, the world was filled with bullets, bombs, deaths, and the shattering of dreams. During the nearly sixty years following the 1967 war, Israel proved its existence. During the fourteen-year war, the emptiness of Arab existence was proven! After 67, the Arab existence was weakened and plunged into an existential crisis, despite what was said and is being said about the unity and cohesion of the Arabs, and that this unity and cohesion is part of their nature and character. After 67, the story of the one nature and character of the Arabs vanished, and it was proven that these sayings are nothing but a lie and self-deception. As for the fourteen-year war in Syria, it did not only prove the lie regarding the nature and character of the Arabs, but it also proved the Syrian lie and deception. It was proven that there is no similarity to the fragmentation of the Syrians except the fragmentation of the Arabs. What is said about the depth and rootedness of historical, cultural and linguistic ties was nothing but a product of imagination and wishful thinking, Arab in general and Syrian in particular.
The Arab defeat in the 1967 war reflected the Arab specificity represented by improvisation, demagoguery, and poor assessment and evaluation in managing wars and crises. Therefore, organized Israel, subject to the provisions of sound assessment and evaluation, won. The disease of improvisation, demagoguery, and poor assessment and evaluation afflicted the Syrians and thwarted a Syrian revolution with complete reasons and necessity. The demagoguery of the Syrian revolutionaries since 2011 was unable to resist its sabotage and elimination by the factions. It can be said that the revolution perished and was eliminated without any resistance to mention. Here, it is not possible to deny some voluntary surrender of the factions, a surrender founded on the false and naive belief that… The factions will lead the country to freedom, democracy and progress, and humiliation, tyranny and slavery will be eradicated under the leadership of the factions. Israel benefited from the 1967 war and from dealing a decisive blow to Nasserism and Arabism, which opened the door to the rise of the political Muslim Brotherhood, which participated in the elimination of Syria in the past fourteen years. Despite the weakness of Israel’s arguments regarding occupations and expansion, it was able to make most of the countries of the world biased towards it. The Arab arguments were misused in a way that turned most of the countries of the world into enemies of the Arabs and friends of Israel. The civil war achieved a rejection of Syria and disgust with the criminal policies and practices on its land. Despite the many intersections and contradictions between the 1967 war and the Syrian civil war, it can now be said that 1967 was the beginning of the rugged path of failure, which ended with the years that are still multiplying until now. As for Syria, it can be said that the Syrian century has ended with the country turning into a graveyard and ruins. If it is possible to bring life back to Syria, it is necessary to avoid reproducing it in the way it was before those recent years. Reproducing it is a prelude to the return of failure that will turn Syria into a historical event that has passed and gone and been eliminated. The existence of Syria will be limited with a new failure in history books, but on the ground there is no existence. she has !.
