Sometimes we hear from the the followers of the Muslim Brotherhood and their ilk phrases that are perplexing in their meanings, such as one of them saying, “We want equality between the ‘components’ of the people, for example, the Syrian people,” at a time when there is much talk about Sunni and Alawite, etc., and all talk about communist, nationalist, populist, Baathist, or Syrian nationalist, etc., disappears.
The term “components” has perplexed us, and we see no connection between this term and reality or logic, Reality does not prove that “components” are limited to Sunnis and Shiites, If we are so foolish as to accept this term despite its numerous flaws, we should say that the number of components of a nation’s people is the number of individuals in that nation, such as the Iraqi, American, or Chinese people, etc. Political and social literature does not recognize the notion that the components of the American people are Republicans and Democrats, and even worse, the notion that the components of the American people are Catholics and Protestants, There is only one component in America as a nation: the American people, with the structure of difference and diversity in which they live, which has enabled the American people to sit at the pinnacle of progress, sophistication, power, and influence in the world, even though America is only 250 years old, Where does America stand now, and where do those called Arabs or Arabized people stand now, after about 1440 years since the dawn of their civilization? Would we be wrong to say that 1440 years ago, depravity exploded in the bellies of the uncouth Arabs?
After that brief introduction regarding dawn and debauchery, it is possible to say that the concept of components is sick, and the minds that produced it will necessarily be sick, Sick minds exist only among the mentally handicapped, the psychologically ill, or those with a congenital defect in their formation and human structure, That is, the emergence of the concept of “components” has many reasons, but the goal or purpose is one, The purpose is a relatively modest truth, Components were invented in order to invent leaders, who failed to produce a single leader, that is, a single dictator, that is, a single symbol, Inventing components requires inventing leaders for them, that is, symbols that are in conflict or allied, or in any other situation that guarantees the interests of the leadership of the component!
Even the Creator was similar to His creations in terms of their components, Religions were created as components of the divine essence without the Creator’s knowledge, and religious leaders were appointed without His knowledge, How could He have knowledge and understanding when He did not exist?! God’s religions are the components of His kingdom, and the contradictions and wars between religions are like the contradictions of the components of peoples, Religions contradict each other in almost everything except what was transmitted by the last religion from sources that go back to the first Abrahamic religion, Logically, the one Creator would not create different, contradictory religions that fight each other, We have not seen this Creator, but we recognize Him from the fruits attributed to Him, Different fruits do not come from one tree, and there is no single fruit, Therefore, there is no such thing as the One and Only!
The state is a legal entity comprising a society, territory, and a social contract, The state is a political entity whose components are exclusively political, Despite this, in the quasi-states of this region, all we hear is talk about Sunnis, Shiites, and other followers of different sects, The event is political, but the discourse is religious and sectarian, There is a confusion between religion and politics, which makes thinking about the matter existentially necessary, Whoever thinks deeply and honestly will discover the hypocrisy and fallacy of the concept of components, It is impossible to prevent the circulation of this discourse, as the attempt to prevent it has evaporated due to modern media, which are resistant to censorship, On the other hand, it is the duty of peoples to know themselves, their situation, their shortcomings and strengths, their policies, and their actions!
There are several levels to understanding the concept of components. Let’s take the political level, under which the state must operate, Is it possible to speak of Sunni, Shia, Alawite, and Druze at the political level? Can a society be composed of sects at the political level? Sects cannot become components of a political society because politics cannot be a sect, Politics is inherently changeable, while a sect is inherently fixed, Therefore, defining the components of society at the political level as sects is tantamount to denying the existence of a society capable of establishing a state, In other words, whoever considers sects as components of a political society is, in their considerations, speaking of a pre-state condition,The entities of this region truly exist in a pre-state stage, that is, in a stage of tribal, clan-based, idolatrous worship. It is no wonder that these entities fail as states because they are not guided by the logic of the state but by the mysticism of religion, which is very different from political realism, A theocratic state cannot be established, nor can religion be “politics,” The difference between religion and politics is like the difference between the constant and the changing, as Sadiq Jalal al-Azm wrote.
It is no wonder that the state failed when sectarianism was politically hybridized! For something cannot be hybridized into something else without suitable prerequisites, Religion lacks the prerequisites for politics, and politics lacks the prerequisites for religion, Therefore, it was logical and expected that both religion and politics would fail, Their marriages among themselves do not produce offspring, like homosexual marriage, and their union is not a true union, nor is their identification with one another, The situation was nothing more than the absolute enslavement of the captive “political” by religious masculinity, Thus, the failure of the religious Brotherhood was absolute and political, They have not yet been able to establish a state better than the Afghan entity, which does not constitute a state, The increase in the Afghan population (procreation) only signifies an increase in Afghan poverty, The matter is similar in Arab entities, There are significant differences between numbers and resources, To establish a state, resources must be available, which the Muslims in most of the entities they live in have not been able to acquire, We do not know of a single Muslim entity that earns its bread through the sweat of its brow!
The Arabized region is religiously and sectarianly backward, even in the field of sports, where the Dagestani boxer is described as a Muslim boxer, and there are Muslim human rights, the Muslim donkey, the Islamic economy, the Muslim missile, etc. Despite everything being Islamic and Muslim, we only see Muslims disagreeing with each other, and the solutions were always farcical and theatrical, involving kissing mustaches and exchanging sweet words, reminiscent of the plays of Ghawar al-Tousheh, After kissing mustaches come announcements of religious brotherhood and the ambiguous intention of tolerance, coexistence, and respecting the rights of sects, then the pledge to respect beliefs, and so on, with those fabricated and sick chants that were false in all cases.
Religion did not occupy the political sphere without a war between them, a war that led to the subjugation of politics and thus its transformation into a vehicle day and night, or as religion desired, The matter was not a voluntary absence of politics, which led to the dominance of religion and its men over the subjugated “politics,” The absence of politics, especially the absence of secular thinking that does not allow sectarian regression, enabled religion to occupy politics. Therefore, it is not possible to be liberated from religion without liberating from its men and without strengthening the independence of politics from religion and from the men of religion.
The sectarian situation is not only a threat and present in one Muhammadan entity, but in all of them, The absence of politics has brought about sectarianism as the worst alternative, Whoever does not want sectarianism must immunize society by establishing politics, Establishing politics automatically leads to the evaporation of sectarianism, In other words, there is no need to fight sectarianism directly, but rather direct efforts must be made to develop politics, The failure of politics is always accompanied by the success of sectarianism, and the success of sectarianism necessarily means exclusion, racism, and ultimately sectarian fighting, All Muhammadan entities are floundering with problems that have no solution without sidelining religion and reviving politics!
