National unity has different levels, and the level that can be a common denominator for everyone is the will for the good and progress of the country, Anything else has no relation to national unity, There is no national unity regarding the president, nor national unity regarding the position, nor in understanding problems, nor even in solving them, These levels are levels of creative difference, which must be respected and preserved, because a unified, monolithic thought is sterile, and a unified position is in itself a breeding ground for dictatorship, or it allows dictatorship to ride on it, We are amazed here by the many isolated calls for unity, which have no parallel in societies that have progressed and solved their problems and crises, Progress is the translation of overcoming hardships and crises, and advanced societies can solve their problems through the presence of creative difference, capable of devising solutions to the greatest problems!
The utopian concept of national unity has become a breeding ground for exploitation, manipulation, belittling, and distortion, In the name of this vague national unity, practices have been undertaken that have no bearing on the country’s well-being; quite the opposite, in fact, How can the Arabs practice this captivating national unity? Only through fallacies, Arabs are among the world’s most vocal about unity, yet also among the most divisive and hypocritical,They are among the world’s most vocal and boastful about patriotism, the great Arab people, and so on, But there is neither patriotism nor greatness in these nomadic peoples. They claim that nomadic life has illuminated humanity’s path for fourteen centuries, starting with absolute illiteracy (100%), which has since become relative. Around 50% of Arabs today are illiterate, despite continuous literacy efforts over the past fourteen centuries, They illuminated the world with civilization, yet it took them fourteen centuries to halve the illiteracy rate… They have no shame!
The destruction of nations was proof of the corruption of symbols and slogans, Many of these symbols and slogans had the opposite effect, For example, national unity in the Arab world meant a unified act of corruption, The cheapest commodity for the Arabs was, and still is, human life; a life is cheaper than a bullet to the head, National unity meant submission and allowing the voice of darkness and death to rise from the pulpits and assassinate the voice of reason and openness with divine decrees that, for example, promote combating spinsterhood with polygamy, preventing adultery with female genital mutilation, and then defending the nation’s honor by committing honor killings, National unity meant dancing at the weddings of democracy and transparency, characterized by legendary corruption, and by having more than 99% of the people stand behind the president in elections overflowing with freedom and transparency! National unity meant respecting religion, which meant submitting to the rulings of Sharia, which in turn meant the freedom of the Muslim Brotherhood to establish a religious state, then develop the country into a Kandahari state, and then linking the rejection or criticism of Muslim Brotherhood ideology to contempt of religion, which is strictly forbidden, As for the application of What the Brotherhood wants politically is their right, Therefore, their program is a dual program: rejecting the other because he despises him and achieving what they want because it is political, Achieving what they want while preventing objection to what they want is a description of a state of absolute dictatorship.
National unity in this region means eliminating any opposition, Where is the opposition when 99% of the citizens support His Excellency the President, and when they chant at every opportunity, “With our souls and blood, we will sacrifice ourselves for you!” Of course, they have many valid reasons to sacrifice their lives for the President, Don’t you notice the life of luxury, stability, and prosperity that Syrians enjoy? Don’t you notice the stability and territorial unity of the country? A modern and advanced country whose people enjoy freedom and equality, There is no difference between a well-fed Qardahi supporter and a hungry person from elsewhere, Are Qardahi supporters equal to those who aren’t Qardahi supporters, or al-Julani supporters to those who aren’t al-Julani supporters, before the courts and the law? All of this was among the achievements of the previous and current presidents, who enjoyed powers that even Caesar Bokassa of Central Africa didn’t possess… This is what a presidency should be like!
What we have mentioned are some examples of the falsity of national unity slogans, which have practically turned into national division, Sadness, which is a personal matter emanating from a hidden core in the depths of individual conscience, has turned into a general condition in the land of the civilization of letters, Arabists and religious fundamentalists, who do not belong to this land, have managed to distort the concept of national unity, unity in difference, not in conflict because of difference!!!!
