Immortality through virtue, death through vice
Thus, the body of Nour Khanum, the presenter of a successful television program, triumphed over her hijab, and the hijab triumphed over the body of Basma Qabbani after her meeting with the Nusra Front in Idlib,All of this is like a cat-and-mouse game between a body that wants life and a hijab that wants death for it, All of this is like an uprising not only against the hijab and what it conceals of humiliation for women, but also an exposure of the lie of honoring them with rulings of laws that despise humanity, Is it true what is said, that the Creator singled out women with rulings that suit their nature, such as the hijab? Is a woman born veiled? And are the rulings of the hijab born with the woman? Is the hijab a covering and protection? And why must a woman be covered from the eyes of those who do not have close male relatives? Is it because her appearance is repulsive to the soul? That is, is she something to be ashamed of? In any case, we acknowledge the consensus of the jurists that the hijab is obligatory for every believing woman who has reached the age of accountability and is addressed by the rulings of Islamic law, which she must adhere to!
It is said that adhering to the hijab is an adherence to divine obedience, glorification of the Creator’s status, and winning His favor, But how can a person adhere to the commands of a hypothetical entity that he neither sees nor touches, and yet must obey it? What are the benefits of winning divine favor? Does divine favor mean obtaining bread when hungry, when we do not see on earth a divine loaf, but rather exclusively an American, Western loaf? Does divine favor mean reviving dignity by killing it, or guaranteeing freedom by practicing tyranny? Or respecting the will by imposing guardianship, or the health of the soul and body by destroying, despising, and considering it shameful?
They say the hijab protects a woman from harm, How is that possible? Does wearing a mask over the eyes protect one from being looked at? Then they say that wearing the hijab promotes virtue,Do unveiled women around the world not know virtue? Then there’s the issue of chastity, Is a veiled woman truly chaste compared to an unveiled one? What is the essence of this chastity? Does it mean covering oneself with the hijab when tempted to sin? Haven’t you noticed what some veiled women do as soon as they board a plane? At that moment, the hijab, the jilbab, and the niqab fly off, only to return to their bodies after they go back to the brothels, Then comes the denier of the hijab, which distinguishes the believer from the disbeliever as an affirmation of religious identity, What is the benefit of this distinction? Does a woman’s being a believer, as an identity, elevate her above non-believers, affirming belonging to the best nation? Isn’t the slogan of the best nation merely empty, pathological arrogance and superiority? They make women sick so that they can be positively distinguished by their illness!
Folly and ignorance triumphed in a battle, but they lost the war, They triumphed over Nawal El Saadawi, author of 40 books, by exiling her and trying her according to the principle of Hisbah (religious police), and by attempting to force her divorce from her husband, However, victory in a battle is one thing, and defeat in a war that immortalized El Saadawi and transformed her into an icon and a shining symbol is quite another, We and the world are honored by Nawal’s presence among us, and by the victory of Hamid Abu Zaid, who rose in stature and position after an attempt was made to destroy him and execute him socially through a forced divorce from his wife according to Hisbah, They died physically but were immortalized as symbols of good, while those who exiled them rotted in the humiliation of the swamp of evil, Female genital mutilation, the hijab, the niqab, polygamy, concubinage, temporary marriage, Misyar marriage, slavery, and repression remained. Parasitism at the tables of others persisted, turning some into human waste! All of this was a departure from history, morality, reason, and logic, leaving them as walking corpses in the graveyard, their existence distinguished only by the disgust they emanated and the stench of decay,”Hawaish on the margins, bullying Nour Haddad, Nawal El Saadawi and others, was the bullying of paper tigers whose roar was the meow of mice!”
Nawal El Saadawi died, but the memory of the “Hisbah” lawsuit remains etched on the conscience of the honorable El Saadawi’s forced divorce from her husband was justified on the grounds that she was an infidel according to the standards of faith and religion , So, El Saadawi and Nasr Hamid Abu Zaid were considered heretics and infidels! Yet, they are children of life, and children of life do not die, because their religion is humanity, not depravity; their religion is honor, not baseness; their religion is humanity, not animalistic barbarity; their religion is virtue, not vice ,How can her forced divorce or the revocation of her citizenship be considered humane? It is the savagery of predatory beasts in an animal pen!
Nawal El Saadawi lived on in her immortality, while female genital mutilation, the hijab, the niqab, polygamy, concubinage, temporary marriage, forced marriage, slavery, repression, and a great deal of deranged and morally bankrupt practices remained, outside the bounds of ethics, logic, understanding, and perception,She died, and the ambiguity surrounding death persisted for 1440 years. Death is a plague that has turned some into walking corpses without reason or conscience, human waste inhabiting cemeteries, This final death seems like a just reward for a life devoid of meaning, substance, or purpose other than suicide. Suicide is an admission of the nihilism of this existence , Those who deserve to exist work for it, and those who do not leave it unmourned.
